Twelve years living in New York City and a childhood spent traveling with family helped to form his global outlook and excitement in experiencing new cultures, traditions, and mindsets.
Jeff has a weak spot for art and design, so any free time means a visit to local markets and artisans’ shops to add to his collection of objects and antiques back home. When not traveling, Jeff enjoys taking his French Bulldog Magnolia for long walks in her stroller—who is leading who, we’ll never know. He also makes sure to set aside plenty of time to visit his baby niece Owens in Texas, and always arrives bearing gifts from his latest adventure.
Whether it’s a Cuckoo Clock from Bavaria or stuffed hippo from Zimbabwe, he loves to share the gift of travel with the little ones in his family.

While there have been countless travel memories, one of the earliest remains the most special. At the age of 14, I spent the summer living with a family in a small French vishing village on the Mediterranean coast. Never having spent a long period of time away from my family, this experience opened my eyes to the way in which travel allows us to create our own global family with those meet along the way.
Create a collection of objects found throughout your travels. Pick up a piece of Delft porcelain in Amsterdam, tribal beads in Kenya, or Murano glass in Venice. Even the smallest items can bring back the greatest memories when displayed in your home.
Pen and paper. Travel has the power to unleash creativity in so many ways. It could be an idea for a project to start once back home, a memory made with loved ones, or even the name of a restaurant recommended by a fellow traveler. Keeping a fresh pen in your back pocket means you will never miss the opportunity to jot down inspiration found on your adventures.
